Water Blur

This photo really isn't a great one - the composition is off, too busy, etc.  But I'm posting it here because I like the effect with the water.  This was at Watkins Glen State Park in New York.

Roar

Here's another one from the Sonnenberg Mansion and Gardens. It was a cool statue outside one of the gardens and I somehow wanted to capture it. A picture of the whole thing would have been blah so I filled the frame with the face. I feel like I got the essence of what I wanted.

Columns and Trellis

This was taken at the Sonnenberg Mansion and Gardens Historic State Park in Canandaigua, NY. It's obviously outside in one of the gardens. Nothing growing on the trellis, but it made for an interesting composition of lines and shapes.

About this Blog

The golden curve or golden ratio is based on the Fibonacci sequence of numbers that creates a mathematical formula for how we often view beauty. What is represented on this blog is not always 1.618, but is a pursuit of the intersection of mathematical logic and natural perception.
