Photo Friday: Warm Light

(Nikon D5100, 1/30, f4.5, ISO500)

One of the lights in our house that comes on every night is our willow light.  It casts a warm glow in the corner of the living room. Who needs a Christmas Tree?

It's also a reminder of a dear friend that passed away several years ago.  He had this very light in his house, and it reminds me of all the good times we spent at his place in his living room watching movies and talking the night away.

Alpaca Peek

(Nikon D5100, 1/10, f5, ISO1000)

One of the many photos I took of Alpacas during our visit with my sister at 2 Point Farm.  This lady was peeking at me under the fence, and I think she's smiling.  Thought it was a cool pic with the detail on the nose and the warm colors of the sky in the background.

Photo Friday: Skyline

(Nikon D5100, 1/1250, f7.1, ISO200)

I thought this was an interesting pick for the "Skyline" topic.  This is one of my preferred skylines, and I liked how the clouds blended the sky with the mountaintop.

Taken from the Ogden Nature Center in Ogden, UT.  Seems fitting that my last post was of the same mountain range, but this time I had the Nikon with me.  This was cropped a bit and brought out the shadows a little to combat the haze.
